VJ Archana, who is famous for starring in the television serial Raja Rani 2, will be making her debut in Tamil cinema with Arulnithi's Demonte Colony 2, directed and written by Ajay Gnanamuthu. 

Archana, who will be joining the sets soon, will be playing Arulnithi’s sister in the film. She will begin shooting for my portions early this month.

The actor recently quit the television industry to pursue her career in films. She was recently seen in the one-minute music video, Dhamaa Thundu, with composer Dharan Kumar.

The plot of the second film is kept under wraps, Priya Bhavani Shankar will be playing the female lead in it. 

The technical crew of Demonte Colony 2 consists of Sam CS as the music composer and Deepak D Menon as the cinematographer. Kumaresh and Ravi Pandi will handle the editing and production design respectively.
