Amidst massive expectations, the Ajith Kumar-starrer Thunivu is gearing up to hit screens this Pongal. The makers are currently in the process of the film getting censored. Meanwhile, a CBFC report about the words and scenes censored in the film has surfaced online. It has also been revealed that the film's runtime will be 145.48 minutes.

Thunivu, a heist thriller, is written and directed by H Vinoth. Produced by Boney Kapoor, the film marks the third collaboration between Vinoth and Ajith after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai.

Thunivu also stars Manju Warrier, Veera, Samuthirakani, Ajay, John Kokken, Amir, Pavni, Cibi Chandran, GM Sundar, Prem, and Bhagavathy Perumal among others. It has music by Ghibran.
