We had earlier reported that the makers of Aishwarya Rajesh's Soppana Sundari released character posters from the film. The makers have now released a motion poster introducing the film's characters in one go, with quirky background music. 

The motion poster reveals Aishwarya Rajesh as Agalya, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli as Thenmozhi, Karunakaran as Durai, Deepa Shankar as Selvi Amma and Sunil Reddy as Inspector Kanna. Agalya is the “heart and soul” of the film. The actor’s character is built to be unpredictable but one with small aspirations, including seeing her sister happily married and overcome her financial struggles.  Thenmozhi is a mute girl, who is kind, family-oriented, and naturally soft. Durai, a selfish and opportunistic brother of Agalya, is hilarious and innocent.  Inspector Kannan is authoritative and known for his evil and misogynistic character.

While the makers haven't revealed the exact release date of the film, we know that Soppana Sundari is heading for a March release. The trailer for the film is also expected to come soon. 

Soppana Sundari is helmed by SG Charles and will be a dark comedy. Others part of the cast, include Redin Kinglsey, and Mime Gopi, among others. Ajmal and Vishal Chandrasekar have both worked on the music for Soppana Sundari while the cinematography is handled by Bala Murugan and Vignesh Rajagopalan.
