Kannile song from Andhagan starring Prashanth was released on Thursday. The film marks the Tamil remake of the super hit Hindi film Andhadhun, which starred Ayushmann Khurrana as a pianist.

The song is composed by Santhosh Narayanan and sung by Adithya RK. The lyrics are penned by Umadevi. The soothing melody features emotional moments in the film.

In the Tamil version, while Prashanth will play Ayushmann’s role, Simran and Priya Anand will essay the characters of Tabu and Radhika Apte, respectively. Andhagan is directed by Prashanth’s father and director Thiagarajan and bankrolled by Staar Movies. The film also stars Samuthirakani and Vanitha Vijayakumar, among others. Andhadhun was also remade in Telugu as Maestro starring Nithiin, Tamannaah, and Nabha Natesh. In Malayalam, it was titled Bhramam with Prithviraj Sukumaran as the lead.
