The makers of Chandramukhi 2 announced that the third schedule of the filming was completed on Thursday.

Directed by P Vasu, the film marks the sequel to the 2005 film that starred Rajinikanth. The first film was also directed by Vasu. Announcing the news of the schedule wrap, the makers shared the group photo of the cast and crew.

The film stars Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles. The cast also includes Vadivelu, Radhika, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Mahima Nambiar and Ravi Maria, among others. The film is backed by Lyca Productions. Meanwhile, it is reported that MM Keeravani is roped in to compose the music for the sequel.  Notably, Chandramukhi ran for a record-shattering 890 days in theatres. It was a remake of the Malayalam classic Manichitrathazhu.
