While it was recently announced that Mithran R Jawahar will be teaming up with Madhavan, the director has confirmed being part of another film. Titled, Ariyavan, the upcoming film stars Ishaaon in the lead, who will be making his debut with the film.

The film is reportedly based on true events and will revolve around themes like sexual harassment and violence against women. Produced by MGP Mass Media, the ensemble cast of Ariyavan also includes Pranali Ghogare, Daniel Balaji, Sathyan, Supergood Subramani, Rama, Ravi Venkatraman, Kalki Raja, and Nishma Chengappa. 

Mithran is directing the film based on a story written by Mariselvan SU and dialogues by Jagajeevan. The music for the Ariyavan is composed by James Vasanthan, Ved Shankar, and Giri Nandh. The cinematography is being handled by KS Vishnu Shri while M Thiyagarajan takes care of the editing.

Mithran is best known for films like Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Thiruchitrambalam.
