Having just appeared in back-to-back releases like Run Baby Run and The Great Indian Kitchen, Aishwarya Rajesh is all set to add another film release to her list. Her upcoming film Soppana Sundari is currently headed for a March release. However, the makers are yet to confirm a release date for the film.

Soppana Sundari is directed by SG Charles, who reveals that "The film is a dark comedy that can be enjoyed by every section of the audience." The director goes on to assure that despite an ensemble cast, the film will give equal importance to every character and will not use the supporting cast to just add more comedic scenes to the film.

The cast of the film also includes Lakshmi Priya, Deepa Shankar, Karunakaran, Redin Kingsley, Mime Gopi, Augustin, Sunil Reddy, Bijon, and Thendral. Ajmal and Vishal Chandrasekar have both worked on the music for the film while the cinematography is handled by Bala Murugan and Vignesh Rajagopalan.
