Paadatha Pattellam song from Raghava Lawrence's Rudhran is out

The makers of the Raghava Lawrence-starrer Rudhran released the first single Paadatha Pattellam on Saturday. 

It is a remix of the old song from the 1962 film, Veerathirumagan. The remix version is sung by Sathyaprakash, Nithyashree Venkataramanan and Emcee D. It is recreated by Dharan Kumar with the legendary Kannadasan's lyrics. The lyrical video features Raghava grooving to the song at the backdrop of a vibrant set. 

Billed to be an action thriller, the film is directed by Kathiresan. The film is currently in the post-production stage. Backed by Five Star Creations LLP, the film is presented by Kathiresan.  Rudhran features actor Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, while Sarath Kumar will be seen in a pivotal role. Poornima Bhagyaraj and Nasser are also part of the cast. The film is shot by cinematographer RD Rajasekar ISC and edited by Anthony. Rudhran will also release in Kannada and Malayalam.
