We had earlier reported that actor Shiva and director Ram are speculatively teaming up for a film together. The latest update is that the film has gone on floors, and Grace Antony will be playing the female lead. Tentatively titled Production #1, the film is presented by Disney+ Hotstar and backed by Seven Seas and Seven Hills production. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing the music. 

The film will be the first time Ram and Shiva will be working together. While the film's plot is still kept under wraps, it would be interesting to see how the project would shape up, given the set of aesthetics that the artists have. While Shiva's known and famous forte is comedy, Ram is known to work around the human psyche and issues that affect society on deeper levels.

Meanwhile, Ram is currently directing the Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, which stars Nivin Pauly, Anjali and Soori in the lead roles. On the other hand, Shiva has Golmaal alongside Jiiva, Saloon and Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum in various stages of production.  He is also awaiting the release of his film with R Kannan, Kasethan Kadavulada.
