Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo to release on this date

The much-anticipated title of Thalapathy 67 was unveiled as Leo by the makers on social media on Friday. The makers also released a title video, which shows Vijay as a chocolatier, who dips his sword inside a bucket of melted chocolate, before saying it “bloody sweet”.  Along with this, the makers also announced the release date of the film. Leo will hit the theatres on October 19.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo marks second collaboration with Vijay after Master. The upcoming film is produced by Seven Screen Studio. The film features Trisha as the female lead, who has earlier worked with Vijay in Ghilli, Thirupachi and Kuruvi. The team is currently shooting in Kashmir.

The upcoming film also features Arjun, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, among others. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa, stunt choreographer Anbariv, editor Philomin Raj, art director N Satheesh and dance choreographer Dinesh.
