It has been raining updates about Thalapathy 67, the upcoming film starring Vijay which will be helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. While the makers recently took to social media to announce the cast, the first schedule of the film has begun in Kashmir.

The makers shared a video of the cast and crew, flying to the location. Vijay is seen boarding the flight along with the director, and actor Trisha, who is playing the female lead in Thalapathy 67. The video also features Vasanthi, who played Agent Tina in Vikram, thus hinting that Thalapathy 67 might be placed within the cinematic universe of Vikram and Kaithi.

Thalapathy 67 marks the second time Vijay is working with Lokesh after Master. Produced by Seven Screen Studio, the wait for the title will end soon, as the makers will announce it on Friday evening.

The upcoming film also features Arjun, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, among others. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa, stunt choreographer Anbariv, editor Philomin Raj, art director N Satheesh and dance choreographer Dinesh.
