Dhanush's upcoming film Vaathi, directed by Venky Atluri, is scheduled to release on February 17. Ahead of that, the makers have organised a grand audio launch event on February 4. 

However, the venue and time of the event are yet to be announced.  The film, set in the 90s, has Dhanush playing a junior school teacher named Balamurgan. The film also features Samyuktha Menon as the female lead,  Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Aadukalam Naren, and Ilavarasu. The film's cinematography is handled by J Yuvraj and the music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. 

It may be noted that the makers already released a couple of songs titled Vaa Vaathi and Naadodi Mannan, respectively.
