We had earlier reported that actor Kishen Das and Smruthi Venkat will be headlining a romantic film titled Tharunam. Kishen, on Saturday, announced that the film has been wrapped up.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Kishen wrote, “Tharunam Wrapped! Started 2023 hoping that I’ll have 2 releases but only got to put out Sync which got extremely polarising responses. Worked hard on 2 films this year and one last year. Hoping for all of you to see more of my work in 2024. Wishing you all more success.”

Tharunam is directed by Arvindh Srinivasan who previously made Deja Vu. It is produced by Pugazh's Zhen Studios and ARKA Entertainments. "The film shows how these two characters meet for the first time and fall in love. It is also about how they overcome a series of problems," the director earlier said to CE.

The film's technical crew includes DOP Raja Bhattacharjee, editor Arul E Siddharth, and art director Varnaalaya Jagadeesan.
