Jithan Ramesh's Route No 17 gets release date

Directed by Abilash G Devan, the film also stars Anju Pandiya in the lead

Earlier, we reported that Jithan Ramesh is working on Route No 17. The makers have now announced that the film will be released on December 29. 

Directed by Abilash G Devan, the film also stars Anju Pandiya in the lead role, while the cast includes Hareesh Peradi, Madhan, and Amar Ramachandran among others. 

The makers of Route No 17 released the film's trailer a few days ago. The trailer portrays eerie happenings in the forests of Sathyamangalam. The story is set on a forest path that is shut for 30 years for a mysterious reason. The plot revolves around how the trespassers never return alive from the forest.

Reportedly, Jithan Ramesh is to play the role of three characters parallelly in the film. Touted to be a revenge thriller, the film is set in three different time periods between 1990 and 2020. 

Backed by Dr Amar Ramachandran of Neni Entertainments Private Limited, the film will feature cinematography by Prasanth Pranavam and editing by  Akhilesh Mohan. The music for the film is composed by Malayalam composer Ouseppachan.
