It is well known that Vasanth Ravi is collaborating with debutant director Sabarish Nanda, an erstwhile associate of director Sarjun, for his next film. The upcoming film, which is touted to be a crime thriller, has now been titled Indra. The makers released the first look poster with the actor on Friday. 

The first look of Indra, which earlier had the tentative title of VR07, has the Rocky actor portraying an intense look. The poster has a cut in the middle and has Vasanth in two different looks, suggesting two different timelines. The shoot for the film wrapped in October this year.

Sharing the poster, Vasanth Ravi said, "Elated to finally reveal the title and first look of #VR07 as Indra. A monster within."

Indra has Mehreen Pirzada playing the female lead and Anikha Surendran playing a crucial role. Sunil and Kalyan Master will also be seen in key roles in the film. 

It is to be noted that the title Indra had been already used in the 1995 film Indira which starred Arvind Swamy with Anu Hasan in lead roles.

The film is produced by Jaffar Sadiq from JSM Productions and Irfan Malik from Emperor Entertainment. The film has art direction by Suriya Rajeevan, cinematography by Prabhakar Raghavan, editing by Praveen KL and music by Soppana Sundari-fame Ajmal Thaseen.
