The teaser of Maayavalai, the upcoming Tamil film starring director-actor Ameer, was released by the makers on social media on Saturday.

Sathya, Sanchitha Shetty, Saran, Dheena, Vincent Ashokan and others also star in the film directed by Ramesh Balakrishnan.

The teaser has Ameer giving the voiceover and introducing himself as Rajan, Sanchitha as Sara and Sathya as Sathya. He goes on to say that the three of them share love, affection and care. But a certain instance causes a dent in their relationship and the teaser shows various instances building the tension.

The technical crew consists of Ramji handling the cinematography and Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music. SP Ahamed is the editor.Maayavalai is backed by Ameer Film Corporation and released by Vetrimaaran's  Grassroot Film Company. A release date of the film is yet to be announced.
