The makers of Ameer's Maayavalai, announced on Sunday, that the film's teaser will be unveiled by Cheran, Samuthirakani, Sasikumar, Ponvannan, Vetrimaaran, Karu Palaniappan and Snekan on December 5 at 6 pm. 

Directed by Ramesh Bala Krishnan, Maayavalai also stars Sathya, Sanchita Shetty, Vincent Ashokan, and Dheena, among others. The plot of the film is yet to be revealed. Ameer's production banner, Ameer Film Corporation and Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Film Company are jointly presenting the film, along with Yuvan Shankar Rajaa's YSR Films. 

It is to be noted that Yuvan Shankar Raja is a long-time collaborator of Ameer and who earlier composed for the latter's directorial Raam, Paruthiveeran, and Mounam Pesiyadhe. Apart from producing, he will also be composing for the upcoming film. Ramji is the cinematographer of the film. 

A release date for Maayavalai is yet to be announced.
