Trailer of Aalambana is out

The trailer of Aalambana, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Vaibhav in the lead role, was released by the makers on Saturday. The film is set to hit the theatres on December 15.

Directed by debutant Pari K Vijay, the film is backed by KJR Studios and Oustubh Entertainments. The film, which is touted to be a fantasy comedy, has Munishkanth playing the role of a Genie.

The trailer shows a wealthy and royal family brought down to nothing after the birth of a child, who grows to be character played by Vaibhav. As he becomes known for bringing bad luck, Munishkanth makes his genie appearance to bring good fortune to the family.

Aalambana has Parvati playing the female lead. The other stars in the cast include Robo Shankar, Kaali Venkat, Murali Sharma, Dindugal I Leoni and Anandraj. Vedalam-fame Kabir Duhan Singh plays the villain. Aalambana was shot in locations like Mysore Palace, Chennai, and Pondicherry. The film which went on floors towards the end of 2019, wrapped up the shoot in 2021.

The film has music by Hip Hop Tamizha, cinematography by Nedunalvaadai-fame Vinoth Ramaswamy, and editing by San Lokesh. It is jointly bankrolled by KJR Studios and Oustubh Entertainments.
