Bharathiraja's Karumegangal Kalaiginrana clears censorship formalities

The film is helmed by Thankar Bachan

Earlier, we reported that director Thankar Bachan's latest directorial, Karumegangal Kalaiginrana is all set to hit theatres on September 1. It has now been announced that the film has cleared censorship formalities with a clean U certificate. 

Starring Bharathiraja in the lead, the film stars an ensemble cast including Aditi Balan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Yogi Babu, Saaral, Mahana Sanjeevi, SA Chandrasekhar, Pyramid Natarajan and Delhi Ganeshan, among others. 

Backed by Durai Veera Sakthi, the technical team of Karumegangal Kalaiginrana comprises cinematographer N K Ekambaram, editor B Lenin and music G.V. Prakash Kumar. 

Karumegangal Kalaiginrana is an expansion of a short story the director had written in 2006. He described the film as a timely one that talks about major issues we are currently dealing with in society.
