Bharathiraja's Karumegangal Kalaigindrana trailer is out

Earlier, we had reported that veteran filmmaker and actor Bharathiraja will be acting in Thankar Bachan's Karumegangal Kalaigindrana. On Monday, the makers released the film's trailer. The film will hit the theatres on September 1. The film's release date confirmation was revealed along with a tagline: "An emotional tale of family, bonding, and relationships."

Besides Bharathi Raja, the film also stars an ensemble cast including Aditi Balan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Yogi Babu, Mahana Sanjeevi, SA Chandrasekhar, Pyramid Natarajan and Delhi Ganeshan, among others. Backed by Durai Veera Sakthi, the technical team of Karumegangal Kalaiginrana comprises cinematographer NK Ekambaram, editor B Lenin and music GV Prakash Kumar. 

Karumegangal Kalaiginrana is based on a short story that the director had written in 2006. Thankar Bachan last directed Kalavaadiya Pozhuthugal in 2017, which had Prabhu Deva and Bhumika in the lead roles
