Noted musician Yuvan Shankar Raja recently asked his Twitter followers who he should collaborate with next and promised to make it happen. The majority voted for Anirudh Ravichander, so Yuvan kept his promise. On Tuesday, acclaimed music composer A R Rahman unveiled the song Adiyaathi, crooned by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Anirudh Ravichander in Yuvan's composition, for the film Paramporul.

Directed by Aravind Raj, Paramporul features Sarath Kumar and Amitash in the lead roles. The film also stars Kashmira Pardesi as the female lead.

Earlier, the makers released a teaser of the film, which showcases the world of antique idol theft. The teaser suggests Sarath Kumar's character as a cop who has embarked upon an investigation into the case of idol smuggling. Just like Sarath Kumar's recent outing, Por Thozhil, the teaser of Paramporul features the actor in a similar avatar.

The film also stars director Balaji Sakthivel in an important role. The film's technical team comprises S. Pandikumar as the cinematographer, while Nagooran Ramachandran serves as the editor.
