The makers of Jackson Durai: The Second Chapter, released the first look poster of Sibiraj from the film, on Thursday. The poster features the actor mounted on a horse, with weapons on his back and a very serious expression. 

Jackson Durai stars the father-son duo Sathyaraj and Sibiraj. Dharanidharan, who helmed the original Jackson Durai (2016), has helmed the sequel as well. The sequel is said to be different from the original horror comedy film.  

In an earlier conversation with CE, the filmmaker said, "This is a much more serious film in comparison, and it is not a sequel. We retained the title because of the inclusion of the pre-independence angle and Britishers in the storyline." He also added that the Second Chapter is a horror thriller with the story set in two timelines-- present and 1940s.

Engga Hostel-fame Samyuktha Vishwanathan plays the female lead in this film, which also stars Sharath Ravi and Mani HK in key roles. With Kalyan Venkatraman cranking the camera, the film has editing by Shafiq Mohammed Ali and music by Siddharth Vipin. 

Father-son duo Sathyaraj and Sibiraj had previously worked together in films like Jore, Mannin Maindhan, Kovai Brothers, Vetrivel Sakthivel, and Jackson Durai.
