The makers of Hansika Motwani and Aadhi Pinisetty's Partner announced the film's release date on Thursday. The film, which also stars Yogi Babu, is slated to hit theatres on August 25. 

Helmed by debutant Manoj Dhamodharan, the film is about Aadhi and Yogi Babu, best friends who steal for a living. When they try to steal from a scientist (Pandiarajan), Yogi Babu falls trap to one of his scientific experiments, transforming him into a woman, played by Hansika Motwani. Aadhi and Hansika's struggle for the latter to turn back into Yogi Babu forms the crux of the film. 

Also starring Palak Lalwani, Pandiarajan, Robo Shankar, and John Vijay among others, Partner is produced by RFC Creations. While Santhosh Dayanidhi has handled the music, Shabir Ahmed has cranked the camera. Director Manoj Dhamodharan has earlier assisted director Sargunam in Kalavani and co-directed the Nayanthara-starrer Dora.
