The streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar on Monday, announced a new Tamil series titled Parachute. Starring Shaam, Kishore, and Kani Thiru, the series is helmed by Sridhar K. 

Child artists Shakthi Ritwik, and Iyal are also a part of the cast. Bava Chelladurai and VTV Ganesh also play key roles in Parachute. The platform also released a video along with the announcement, where the actors are all seen at a pooja ceremony. 

Om Narayan is all set to crank the camera for the upcoming project. Parachute will have Suzhal and Vikram Vedha-fame editor Richard Kevin handling the editing. Actor Krishna is backing the project under his banner Tribal Horse Entertainment.  The makers are yet to reveal more details about the plot of the upcoming project.
