On Monday, the makers of Siddharth's upcoming film Takkar released the teaser, on the occasion of the actor's birthday. Takkar is directed by Karthik G Krish, who has previously helmed Kappal (2014) starring Vaibhav. The film stars Divyansha Kaushik as the female lead.

The teaser of Takkar shows Siddharth and Divyansha Kaushik involved with each other romantically. Divyansha's character is established to be a feminist, and it seems like she does not believe in the idea of love. Takkar's teaser hints that the film will be a romantic drama. 

Takkar is backed by Sudhan Sundaram and G Jayaram of Passion Studios. The film also stars Yogi Babu, Abimanyu Singh, Vigneshkanth, and Ramdos in prominent roles. 

Takkar’s technical crew consists of Vaanjinathan Murugesan as the cinematographer and music composed by Nivas K Prasanna. GA Gowtham and Udaya Kumar are handling the edits and production design respectively.

Meanwhile, Siddharth was last seen in projects like anthology Navarasa and Telugu film Maha Samudram. The first look of his upcoming film with SA Arun Kumar, Chithha, was also released on Monday. He is also part of the upcoming sequel Indian 2, alongside Kamal Haasan.
