On Sunday, the makers of Suriya's film with Siruthai Siva revealed that the film is titled Kanguva. The film, which marks the 42nd outing of actor Suriya, is all set to release in 11 languages in early 2024. 

Actor Riteish Deshmukh, took to Twitter to congratulate and wish Suriya. Replying to Suriya's tweet sharing the title, Riteish wrote, "Best wishes my brother - can’t wait for this one. The vibe of the track is just awesome. #Kanguva. I am sure something extremely special is loading up." (sic)

Disha Patani is said to play the female lead in this high-budget film. Suriya will reportedly play 5 different characters in the film. The film will have cinematography by Siva's frequent collaborator, Vetri Palanisamy, production design by Milan and editing by Nishad Yusuf.

Supreme Sundar will be choreographing the action sequences, while Narayana has co-written the script. The dialogues are by Madhan Karky. Kanguva is co-produced by UV Creations and Studio Green.
