Vijay Antony's Tamilarasan gets a new release date

The film is helmed by director Babu Yogeswaran

After the release of Vijay Antony's Tamilarasan was postponed twice, the makers on Friday, announced that the film will be out on April 21. The film is helmed by director Babu Yogeswaran.

Babu Yogeswaran previously directed the 2005 Jayam Ravi film Daas. Vijay Antony plays a police officer in Tamilarasan. Remya Nambessan plays his wife in the film. The film also has Suresh Gopi playing the role of a doctor. 

Billed as a thriller, the film also stars Radha Ravi, Sonu Sood, Sangeetha, Munishkanth, Robo Shankar, and Yogi Babu. Tamilarasan's technical crew includes music composer Ilaiyaraaja and cinematography by RD Rajasekhar. The film is produced by S Kowsalya Rani. 

Meanwhile, Vijay Antony's debut directorial Pichaikkaran 2 is also expected to release soon. He is currently filming for many other films including Kolai, Ratham, Valli Mayil and Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan
