We had earlier reported that producer Sashikanth of YNot Studios banner is making his directorial debut with Test, an upcoming Tamil film starring R Madhavan, Nayanthara and Siddharth. On Thursday, actor Kaali Venkat took to Twitter to announce that he has joined the film's cast. 

Sharing a selfie featuring Madhavan and himself, he wrote in Tamil, "I am elated to join you once again in Test after we starred together in Irudhi Suttru." (sic)

Kaali Venkat's previous outing with Madhavan, Irudhi Suttru, was also backed by YNot Studios. The production of Test is underway, and the film will be shot majorly in Chennai and Bangalore. Test is slated for worldwide release in the Summer of 2024. 

Meanwhile, Kaali Venkat, who was last seen in Gatta Kusthi, is known for his performance in films such as Gargi, Kodi, Maari and Mundasupatti, among others.
