Kannai Nambathey, actor and politician Udayanidhi Stalin's latest outing, is all set to make its OTT premiere on Netflix on April 14. The film hit theatres on March 17 and opened to mixed reviews. 

Best known for directing Arulnithi-starrer Iravukku Aayiram Kangal, Mu Maran has helmed Kannai Nambathey. While Udayanidhi Stalin headlines the suspense-thriller, Aathmika plays the female lead. Prasanna, Bhumika Chawla, Srikanth, Vasundhara, Sathish Marimuthu, Subiksha Krishnan and Pazha Karuppiah round off the rest of the cast members.

Produced by VN Ranjithkumar under his banner LIPI Cine Crafts, the music for Kannai Nambathey has been composed by Siddhu Kumar. The cinematography of the film has been handled by Jalandhar Vasan. 

Udayanidhi Stalin had earlier declared that he will retire from acting and will focus entirely on his political career. He will next be seen in Mari Selvaraj's Maamannan, for which he has already completed shooting.
