On Saturday, the makers of Nayanthara's Lady Superstar 75 announced that the film has officially gone on floors after a traditional Pooja ceremony. The makers also announced that they received blessings from veteran actor Rajinikanth. Rajinikanth met the crew behind the film, including director Nilesh Krishnaa, and wished them success in the film. A video of the pooja ceremony was also released by Zee Studios.

Debutant Nilesh Krishnaa's film also stars Jai, Sathyaraj, KS Ravikumar, Achyuth Kumar, Redin Kingsley, Kumari Sachu, Karthik Kumar, Renuka, Suresh Chakravarthy and Poornima Ravi. 

Lady Superstar 75's cinematography will be handled by Sathyan Sooryan, Praveen Antony will be the editor and Thaman is the composer. 

In an earlier conversation with Cinema Express, Nilesh, an assistant to director Shankar, previously said, "I wrote the script in 2019, and took time to research for the film. Even when writing, I had Nayanthara Ma'am in my mind. This will be completely different from other films that had her as the solo lead."
