The makers of Master-fame Mahendran's upcoming film Ripupbury released the film's trailer on Saturday. The film is written and directed by Na Arun Karthick, who has also produced the film.

Billed to be a horror-comedy, the trailer of Ripupbury starts with a voiceover introducing a funny-looking doll that can identify the existence of ghosts. The teaser then informs us that the town is infected with a spirit called the 'Caste Ghost' that has been on a killing spree, murdering those who are in an inter-caste relationship. It is then revealed that Mahendran's character could be a potential victim, as his lover of a different caste.

Ripupbury also stars Noble K James, Maari, Srrini, Kaavya Arivumani, Arati Podi, Dhanam, and Chella. Diwacara Thiyagarajan composed the music for the film while Talapathy Ratinam handled the cinematography. Ripupbury is edited by Muganvel. The film is all set to hit theatres on April 14.
