The makers of the film Kulasami starring Vemal, released the motion poster of the film on Friday. The film is directed by actor-director Saravana Sakthi, and the film has dialogues penned by Vijay Sethupathi. 

The motion poster features a rage-violent avatar of Vemal. The motion poster also showcases Vijay Sethupathi and director Saravana Sakthi.

The long-overdue project was announced in 2020 and delayed due to the lockdowns. Kulasami has Tanya Hope playing the female lead and stars actors like Bose Venkat, Vinothini and Mahanadhi Shankar in important roles. Apart from them, famous police officer SR Jankid is also a part of the film.

Kulasami has music by Mahalingam, editing by Gopi Krishnan and cinematography by Ravi Chandran. 

Vemal was last seen in the web series Vilangu, which is most likely to be renewed for a season two. He also has projects like Enga Pattan Sothu, Manjal Kudai and Vetri Kondan in various stages of production.
