The trailer of Raghava Lawrence's upcoming film Rudhran will release on April 5, the makers announced on Monday. The trailer and the songs will be launched at a grand audio and trailer launch ceremony, which is all set to happen on April 5, at the Chennai Trade Centre.

The makers of Rudhran have already released three songs from the film. Composed by GV Prakash, the first song was Paadatha Paattelaam, a remix version of the old song of the same name. They then released Pagai Mudi which saw the reunion of Sarath Kumar and Lawrence after their performance in Kanchana 2. On Saturday, they released Unnoda Vaazhum, a romantic song sung by Sid Sriram.

Billed to be an action thriller, Rudhran is directed by Kathiresan. Backed by Five Star Creations LLP, the film is presented by Kathiresan. Rudhran features actor Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, while Sarath Kumar will be seen in a pivotal role. Poornima Bhagyaraj and Nasser are also part of the cast.

The film is shot by cinematographer RD Rajasekar ISC and edited by Anthony. Rudhran will also release in Kannada and Malayalam. The film is all set to hit theatres on April 14.
