It's a wrap for Vadakkupatti Ramasamy

Billed as a period comedy-drama, Megha Akash will be seen as the female lead in the film

We had earlier reported that Santhanam is joining hands once again with Dikkiloona director Karthik Yogi for his next, titled Vadakkupatti Ramasamy. On Monday, the makers announced that the shooting for the film has been wrapped. They also revealed that the shoot happened within a single schedule of 63 days. 

Billed as a period comedy-drama, Megha Akash will be seen as the female lead in Vadakkupatti Ramasamy. The film deals with a real-life incident that happened in a village in the 1960s-70s. The film has Jai Bhim-fame Tamizh playing the prime antagonist. Apart from him the film stars John Vijay, MS Bhaskar, Rajendran, Seshu, Ravi Mariya, and Nizhalgal Ravi.

With music by Sean Roldan, Vadakkupatti Ramasamy will have cinematography and editing by Deepak and Shiva Nandeeswaran, respectively. 

While the post-production work for Vadakkupatti Ramasamy  has begun now, the makers are yet to announce a release date for the film.
