Actor Kavin, who was last seen in Dada, expressed his elateness over the film completing 50 days since its release and for all the love the makers received for the same.

Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote, "Can't express how grateful I am to everyone who made this possible - people who came out to watch it, the crew who worked tirelessly behind the scenes - press, media, theater owners who supported us.”

Kavin also extended his gratitude to distributing banner Red Giant Movies and production banner Olympia Movies.

Dada also stars Aparna Das, VTV Ganesh, K Bhagyaraj, among others. It revolves around a couple who meet with an unplanned pregnancy, leading to Kavin's Manikandan raising their child as a single father. The film, directed by debutant Ganesh K Babu, opened to positive reception.
