Cobra, the recently released Tamil film, is set to stream on SonyLIV from September 28, the platform announced.

Starring Vikram, the film is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by Seven Screen Studio. The film also stars Irfan Pathan, Srinidhi Shetty and Mirnalini Ravi in prominent roles. With music by AR Rahman, the film opened to mixed reviews. 

When the film was released in theatres, the runtime was three hours three minutes and three seconds. After many felt that the film was all over the place and convoluted, the makers decided to trim the film by 20 minutes. 

Meanwhile, Vikram will be soon seen as Aditha Karikalan in the upcoming epic historical drama Ponniyin Selvan. The film will release on September 30.
