The release date of Dhanush's Telugu-Tamil bilingual, Vaathi (Tamil) and Sir (Telugu), has been announced. The Venky Atluri directorial will be releasing in theatres on December 2, the makers shared the news on Monday with a poster featuring Dhanush in a classroom.

The film, which features Samyuktha Menon as the female lead, also stars Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Aadukalam Naren and Ilavarasu. The film has music by GV Prakash Kumar and cinematography by J Yuvraj. The film is being produced by Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas.

Dhanush's last theatre release was the highly successful Thiruchitrambalam and will be next seen in Naane Varuven, directed by Selvaraghavan. Naane Varuven is set to release this month. He also has Arun Matheswaran's Captain Miller coming up.
