CE Features

Viruman, the latest Tamil film starring Karthi and Aditi Shankar in the lead roles, and released in theatres in August, will digitally premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 11.

Directed and written by M Muthuaiah, Viruman also features Karthi and Prakash Raj as father and son. The film also marks the acting debut of Aditi Shankar and also features veteran actor Soori and Raj Kiran in pivotal roles.

Viruman is set against the backdrop of Madurai, and follows the story of Viruman, a village youngster who leaves his house when he finds out that his father, Muniyandi, is the reason for his mother's suicide. An intrepid and good-hearted person, he fights to make his arrogant father pay the price for his sins and save his brothers from the man's grip.

“It was an unfamiliar territory that I'm glad I chartered into with such hardworking and talented artists like Karthi and Aditi. I hope with the worldwide premiere of this movie, the audiences have a great time watching the movie,” Prakash Raj said.

The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and produced by 2D Entertainment.
