Gautham Vasudev Menon in talks with Lokesh for Thalapathy67

Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is currently awaiting the release of his directorial Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, is in talks with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for latter’s upcoming film which is tentatively titled Thalapathy67.

Gautham said the same during an interview with a media channel.

Revealing that Gautham was approached by Lokesh to act in Vikram (for Chemban Vinod Jose role), but could not take up, the filmmaker said, “Lokesh asked me to work in Vikram, but it did not work out. But now he has given me a call to act in his next film also. He has given me a call and he said he will talk to me further on,” Gautham added.

Thalapathy67 will feature Vijay in the lead role and it is the actor’s second collaboration with Lokesh. It is to be noted that earlier Gautham was supposed to direct Vijay in Yohan Adhyayam Ondru. However the film did not fruitate.
