 Anirudh to release the first official trailer for Kanam

Anirudh is reportedly releasing the first official trailer for Kanam. The composer will release the trailer through his social media handles tomorrow at 12: 30 pm. The film will also be released in Telugu under the title of Oke Oka Jeevitham. The film is written and directed by debutante Shree Karthik and produced by S R Prabhu under his banner Dream Warrior Pictures. The film stars Sharwanand, Ritu Varma, Nassar, and Amala Akkineni. 

The film is a time travel sci-fi drama that revolves around the mother-son sentiment. Sharwanand, who rose to prominence with Engeyum Eppodhum in Tamil, is playing the lead while Amala Akkineni will play his mom. Akkineni will return to screens in Tamil after 30 years. The Tamil version of the film will have Sathish and Ramesh Thilak playing supporting roles while the Telugu version has Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi.

Jakes Bejoy, who predominantly works in Malayalam, is composing music for the film while Sujith Sarang handles the cinematography. Kanam is currently scheduled to release on 9 September.
