While filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj and actor Vijay's upcoming film is currently under pre-production, speculations are doing rounds that Vishal will be part of the stellar cast.

Interestingly, Lokesh recently met Vishal on the sets of the latter's upcoming film Mark Antony. And Vishal also participated in the 100 days celebration event of Kamal Haasan-starrer Vikram,  also directed by Lokesh. Besides, the latest reports suggest that Nivin will play the antagonist in the tentatively titled Thalapathy 67. Earlier, it was noted that the makers were in talks with Prithviraj Sukumaran. However, the actor could not commit to the project due to a date clash. It now looks like Nivin will replace Prithviraj in Thalapathy 67. However, no official announcement regarding the same has been made yet.

And if reports are to be believed, Thalapathy 67 will go on floors in December. Meanwhile, the speculated cast includes Trisha, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Sanjay Dutt, and Mathew Thomas. On the other hand, Vishal who was last seen in Enemy, has Thupparivaalan 2 and Laththi, apart from Mark Antony.
