CE Features

Actor Ajith has released a statement on promotion of films through his publicist Suresh Chandra's Twitter handle. He wrote, "A good film is promotion by itself!" He ended it saying, "Endless love."

The statement has been virally shared by the fans as it comes at a time when Vijay's Varisu team has been releasing promotional stills and interviews to advertise their film, which will most likely face Ajith-H Vinoth's Thunivu for the pongal race.

The film was last in the news when Manju Warrier began dubbing for the film. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Studios acquired the distribution rights of Thunivu is Tamil Nadu. Incidentally, it is set to be a crowded Pongal in 2023 with Vijay's upcoming bilingual Varisu/Vaarasadu, with director Vamshi Paidipally also promising to make it to theatres this Pongal. This is just the second time in eight years that Ajith and Vijay are releasing their films on the same day. Incidentally, all those years back, the clash once again happened on a Pongal day in 2014 with Veeram and Jilla

Billed as an action adventurer, Thunivu also features Samuthirakani, John Kokken and Veera in supporting roles.

With music by Ghibran, Thunivu has cinematography by Nirav Shah.
