CE Features

SJ Suryah is all set to make his directorial comeback with a film titled Killer. He made his debut with Vaali in 1999 and went on to direct some A-list actors like Vijay and Ajith. Suryah then switched lanes to become a lead actor in his 2004 film New. His last directorial was Isai in 2015, which received mixed reviews.

After nearly seven years, the actor-director is now back to directing a film, which is reportedly about racing. The actor revealed in an interview that he has started working on the script for the film and that he had also registered the title ‘Killer’ for the film.

The actor recently appeared in Venkat Prabhu's directorial, Silambarasan TR starrer Maanaadu in 2021. He received critical praise for portraying a corrupt police officer called DCP Dhanushkodi in the sci-fi action film. His upcoming release includes a thriller called Bommai, directed by Mozhi fame Radha Mohan. The film, which stars Priya Bhavani Shankar opposite SJ Suryah, has completed post-production and is expected to release in November 2022.

He is currently shooting for films like the Vishal starrer Mark Anthony, Tamilvannan directorial Uyarndha Manithan, and Shankar’s Telugu debut with Ram Charan in lead titled RC15.
