Buffoon, the recently released Tamil film, will stream on Netflix on October 14, the director of the film Ashok Veerappan announced on social media. 

Starring Vaibhav in the lead role, Buffoon is a crime thriller also features a host of actors, including  Anagha, Joju George, Anthakudi Ilayaraja. It is presented by filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj is presenting the film through his production house Stonebench Films.

The film follows the life of a street theatre performer who is scrambling for cash to out of the town, is pulled into the world of drug trafficking and political corruption.

Dinesh Purushothaman has shot the film, which has music by Santhosh Narayanan. The film released in theatres on September 23 and opened to mixed reviews.
