Suriya is currently shooting for his new film with Siva, which is planned as a big-scale actioner. For the last couple of months, the team have been shooting major portions of the film in Goa and Chennai. As per latest reports, the next schedule will be begin soon in Sri Lanka.

Suriya 42 is said to be set in two timelines. Reportedly, the team had shot the present day portions in Goa. A two-month long schedule has next been planned in Sri Lanka, where the team will be canning some crucial period portions. The film stars Disha Patani as the female lead. KS Ravikumar, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley and Anandraj are playing other important characters.

Suriya 42, jointly produced by UV Creations and Studio Green, has been planned to be released in 3D across ten languages. Adi Narayana has scripted the film with dialougues by Madan Karky. It has music by Devi Sri Prasad, and cinematography by Siva's frequent collaborator, Vetri Palanisamy.
