Shooting commences for Hiphop Tamizha Adhi-Karthik Venugopalan's next

The actor plays a physical education teacher named Kanagavel

We earlier reported that Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, the musician turned actor, will be starring in the upcoming film directed by Karthik Venugopalan.

Sharing the pooja ceremony video, the makers revealed that the film's production has commenced recently. Set in the school backdrop, the actor is said to play a physical education teacher named Kanagavel in the upcoming film. Director Karthik is a YouTuber-turned-filmmaker, who made his debut with Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja (NNOR).

In an earlier conversation with us, speaking about the upcoming film, tentatively titled HHT7, Karthik said, "It will be a fun-filled entertainer and present Adhi in a new avatar. Unlike the NNOR, which predominantly starred YouTubers, this film will have famous actors from the industry and we have planned to reveal them one by one in the upcoming weeks."

Besides acting, Adhi will also be composing music for the film. The technical crew includes cinematographer Madhesh Manickam, editor Gk Prasanna and Production Designer A Amaran. The film is produced by Ishari Ganesh under the Vels Film International banner.

Meanwhile, it may be noted that Adhi, was last seen in Anbarivu and has another project titled Veeran, directed by ARK Saravanan.
