We had earlier reported that Naai Sekar Returns, Vadivelu's much-awaited comeback as a hero, is under post-production now. The Suraaj directorial, which has the filmmaker collaborate with Vadivelu for the fourth time in Naai Sekar Returns, features the actor as a detective.

With music by Santhosh Narayanan, the album of the film also marks Vadivelu's return to playback singing.

Now, the latest update from team Naai Sekar Returns is that the first single will be out on Monday. The makers announced that the song, titled Appatha, will be choreographed by Prabhudheva, and sung by Vadivelu. 

Backed by Lyca Productions, Naai Sekar Returns also stars Redin Kingsley, Shivangi, and Lollu Sabha Maaran among others.

Meanwhile, apart from Naai Sekar Returns, Vadivelu also has Chandramukhi 2, Maamannan, and an untitled film with Vijay Sethupathi in various stages of production.
