The first look of  Tharsan-M Saravanan's Naadu out

The film stars Mahima Nambiar as the female lead

We reported recently that the shoot of Naadu, starring Bigg Boss-fame Tharsan and directed by Engeyum Eppodhum-fame M Saravanan was wrapped up. The film stars Mahima Nambiar as the female lead. 

Naadu is said to be a political thriller and will hit the screens next year. The film has music by C Sathya (Aranmanai 3) and cinematography by KA Sakthivel. The project is bankrolled by Sri Arch Media and Entertainment.  

Tharsan was last seen in Koogle Kuttappan, co-starring Losliyaa and KS Ravikumar. While Mahima, who was last seen in Ayngaran, alongside GV Prakash, has Vijay Antony-CS Amudhan's Ratham in the lineup. She is also said to be part of P Vasu's Chandramukhi 2

M Saravanan directed the action thriller Raangi, starring Trisha and produced by AR Murugadoss. But there is no word about the release of the film. It may be noted that he had also announced a film starring Puneeth Rajkumar and Sudeep in Kannada.
