Vaa Vaathi, the first single of Vaathi, is out. With music by GV Prakash, the song is written by Dhanush and sung by Shweta Mohan.

The Telugu version of the song is titled, Mastaaru Mastaaru, and is penned by Ramjogaiah Sastry. Vaathi is titled Sir in Telugu.

Featuring Samyuktha Menon as the lead, Vaathi also stars Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Aadukalam Naren and Ilavarasu.

With cinematography by J Yuvraj, Vaathi is backed by Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas.
