The shooting of Engeyum Epodhum-fame M Saravanan's Naadu has been wrapped. The film stars Tharsan and Mahima Nambiar in lead roles. 

Naadu is said to be a political thriller and will hit the screens next year. Tharsan was last seen in Koogle Kuttappan, co-starring Losliyaa and KS Ravikumar. While Mahima, who was last seen in Ayngaran, alongside GV Prakash, has Vijay Antony-CS Amudhan's Ratham in the lineup. She is also said to be part of P Vasu's Chandramukhi 2

M Saravanan directed the action thriller Raangi, starring Trisha and produced by AR Murugadoss. But there is no word about the release of the film. It may be noted that he had announced a film starring Puneeth Rajkumar and Sudeep in Kannada.
